    7.2 Our refund and rescheduling policy is as follows:

    • 7 days or more notice: If you cancel or reschedule 7 days or more before your scheduled session date, you can reschedule or you are entitled to a full refund.

    • More than 48 hours but less than 7 days notice: You will receive a 50% refund, or you may choose to reschedule your session (limited to one time per client).

    • Less than 48 hours notice:You will receive a 50% refund but you may not reschedule your session.

    • General Policy: Failure to attend a scheduled session without notice will be treated as a cancellation with less than 48 hours notice.

    • We are not responsible for sending reminders after you have booked.

    1.1 These terms and conditions (Terms) explain how you can purchase Decluttering and Organising Services (Services) through our website. By purchasing our Services, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.

    3 PLACING AN ORDER

    3.1 To book our Services, please place an order via our Website. You are responsible for ensuring your order details are accurate.

    3.2 Your order is accepted only when we send you a written confirmation email. At this point, a legal contract is formed between us. We will then provide you with the information needed to book your specific service date.

    3.3 Our Services are currently only available to residents within the UK.

    4 SERVICE STANDARDS AND ITEM REMOVAL

    4.1 We will provide our Services with reasonable care and skill, ensuring they match the description provided on our Website.

    4.2 Removal of Items: During the decluttering process, we may assist you in moving items out of your space. Please note:

    • Consent: No items will be removed from your property without your explicit verbal or written consent at the time of removal.

    • Charity Donations: We only take away items that are suitable for donation.

    • General Rubbish & Waste: We do not provide a waste disposal service. We cannot remove general rubbish, hazardous materials, or items destined for a landfill. All disposal of non-donatable waste remains the responsibility of the client.

    5 PERFORMANCE OF SERVICES

    5.1 We will make every effort to perform the Services on your chosen date. If a delay occurs due to circumstances beyond our control (such as severe weather or traffic), we will contact you as soon as possible to reschedule.

    5.2 If we are delayed over one hour you will have the option to either wait for the next available slot or cancel your order for a refund, subject to the conditions in Clause 7.

    6 PRICE AND PAYMENT

    6.1 The Price for our Services is shown on the Website and as set out in your order.

    6.2 All Services must be paid for in full and in advance. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal via our payment provider, Stripe.

    8.1 We reserve the right to refuse to provide Services and may leave the premises immediately if the environment is deemed unsafe or inappropriate. Reasons for refusal include, but are not limited to:

    • Presence of hazardous materials, structural instability, or severe hygiene issues (e.g., infestations, mold, or biohazards).

    • Any form of verbal or physical abuse, threats, aggression, or harassment directed toward our staff.

    • Illegal activity occurring on the premises.

    8.2 In any situation where we refuse a job for the reasons stated in Clause 8.1, no refund will be given for the booked session.

    9 LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

    9.1 We are not liable for losses caused by your failure to provide accurate information or failure to provide access to the location at the agreed time.

    9.2 We are not liable for any loss or damage that is not "foreseeable." This means loss that was not an obvious consequence of our breach.

    9.3 Business Customers: Our total liability to business customers shall not exceed the price paid for the Services. We are not liable for loss of profits, business opportunity, or indirect losses.

    10 GENERAL

    10.1 Complaints: We value your feedback. If you are unhappy with our service, please email info@decluttermyspace.co.uk so we can resolve the matter.

    10.2 Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
